Despite spending a large chunk of their salary preening themselves with hair extensions, false nails and a face full of slap, most girls actually look cuter with the just-got-out-of-bed vibe.
And Tulisa Contostavlos certainly possesses the charm of the girl next door for that very reason.
Despite sunning herself in Miami, the N-Dubz star shunned the size zero and peroxide blonde conventions to look effortlessly radiant with a natural sunkissed glow in her sequin purple bikini.

Govt. will protect Fonseka: Wimal

If war crime charges were brought against former Army Commander Sarath Fonseka, the government would undoubtedly protect him without any hesitation but pardoning him or setting him free is entirely a different issue, Construction, Engineering, Housing and Common Amenities Minister Wimal Weerawansa said. Responding to a query on the UNHRC sessions in Geneva next week at the weekly cabinet news briefing yesterday Minister Weerawansa said it is the responsibility of all patriotic Sri Lankans to extend their support to the government notwith standing their political, religious, ethnic or social affiliations at this hour.
“Yes, the country has confronted a grave and unprecedented challenge as the West and anti Sri Lanka elements are in a campaign to destroy Sri Lanka as they are extremely angry for the annihilation of the LTTE terrorism in this country. Therefore, they are in a mission to destabilize the Mahinda Rajapaksa administration and war heroes who brought peace to the country after 30 years of blood and destruction,” he stressed..
Appealing to the opposition and trade unions that launch protest campaigns, Minister Weerawansa said: “You can defeat Mahinda Rajapaksa in an election, but do not attempt to unsettle the country through your anti national hate campaigns that would destroy the country and bring back the terrorism that bled the country for 30 years,”.
Minister Weerawansa questioning the rationale of the anti Sri Lanka resolution by the west added that they have treated Rajapaksa administration like one that came to power with a coup, a military rule or a country that possess nuclear threats to others which is not the case.
The protests against fuel price hike and related increase of electricity and bus fare did not intend to air their genuine difficulties but aimed at disrupting the country and create an ideal situation to show that HR and FR violations and Labour Rights violations are common in Sri Lanka.

Military workshop for ministers and govt. MPs

Concerns have been raised and questions asked about a two-day workshop organised by the Defence Ministry to be held at the Diyatalawa Military Academy (DMA) for ministers and UPFA parliamentarians, a senior SLFP minister said yesterday.
The workshop on March 3 and 4 was earlier scheduled to be held at Nuwara Eliya but was shifted to the DMA after parliamentarian Namal Rajapaksa and Udith Lokubandara visited Nuwara Eliya, Daily Mirror learns.
A government official said the military academy was chosen for security reasons on the instructions of Namal Rajapaksa because President Mahinda Rajapaksa, Defence Secretary Gotabaya Rajapaksa, the ministers and government parliamentarians were expected to attend the two-day event. He said the Defence Secretary would deliver the keynote address at the inauguration of the workshop on March 3 while top officials of the defence establishments would be among the main speakers. “We do not have a clear idea about the objective since it will be addressed by military officers,” a senior minister told Daily Mirror.
“I cannot find any law or regulation in the parliamentary standing orders or in the common law that permits this kind of workshop for law makers,” another concerned minister said.
An elaborate security arrangement has been put in place at Diyatalawa for the two-day event. Meanwhile, Diyatalawa Pradeshiya Sabha Chairman N.G. Samankumara said on the instructions of the Urban Development Authority and as a security measure the Pradeshiya Sabha would evict unauthorised dwellers and dismantle unauthorised constructions.“we expect President Rajapaksa, ministers and government parliamentarians for the workshop and it is our duty to make their stay at Diyatalawa peaceful and happy,” Mr. Samankumara said.
